We are a friendly, peaceful community of 460 parcels with custom homes and pristine open spaces, unparalleled in location, beauty and destination-resort ambiance. 

Riviera West is within a three-hour drive of both the Bay Area and Sacramento. It is an ideal hub for North Coast locations that appeal to everyone in the family. In Lake County you can enjoy watersports, fishing, boating and bird-watching on the lake, as well as hiking, horseback riding, visiting wineries and much more. In addition to award-winning Lake County wineries, a wide range of Northern California wine country attractions are only one or two hours’ drive from the Riviera West neighborhood. 

Riviera West offers its members the amenities of a large, heated swimming pool (open near Memorial Day and closed after Labor Day), a clubhouse with magnificent views and a park with picnic and barbecue area, bocce ball court and horseshoe pit. The association also has a  waterside play and picnic area, a docked-in marina beach for family swimming and tie-ups, and a private launch ramp. The clubhouse is available for rental by Riviera West members.

Originally developed in the late 1960s, Riviera West has been gradually built out with about 250 custom homes. Riviera West is a Community Interest Development, with building guidelines and other guidelines included in its community by-laws. This ensures that all properties enjoy the benefits of the value-protecting standards.

Riviera West is served by its own Harbor View Mutual Water Company. Our water company is a separate, non-profit corporation that operates a state-of-the art water plant providing consistent, quality water to the community. The Riviera West homeowners’ association and Harbor View Mutual Water Company are corporations overseen by their respective elected boards of directors and serviced by several active volunteer committees.
