Riviera West Marina

MEMBER NOTICE: Beginning July 2021, the pier that serves the docks will be temporarily closed for repairs.

The Riviera West Marina and Park is located off the lake side of Soda Bay Road, across from the entry into Riviera West Drive, just past the bus stop; adjacent to the Mutual Water Company's Water Plant. Our marina offers community members a boat launch and docks, picnicking and a beachfront park. This area is utilized year-round for boating, relaxing, a BBQ and maybe cooler temperatures.  It's a great place to enjoy all these wonderful amenities including spectacular views of Clear Lake. In 2022, the launch ramp was extended by 24 feet, and improvements are planned for the piers and floating dock. Thank you for your patience as these improvements are in progress.

To obtain access to the Marina area, as well as the pool, you will need a Security Access Card. These Cards can be acquired at the Office, located on the end of the Clubhouse near the pool entrance.

DOG OWNERS:  Please have consideration for others who use the picnic area. The picnic area is not to be used as a dog run, dog exercise area or a restroom area for dogs. You will be responsible for any damages you or your pets cause to the picnic and marina area.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Clean, Drained, Dry:  Avoid a citation by following Lake County's mussel sticker policy

The photo above shows that in just a few months, quagga mussels can seriously obstruct water pipes and cover other surfaces.

Keeping these invasive pests out of Clear Lake is in everyone's best interest.

For up-to-date information, be sure to visit Lake County's website, http://www.nomussels.com/,

Lake County law requires screening of all trailered water vessels. All watercraft launched in Lake County MUST display a current Lake County mussel sticker as proof of screening. This is in addition to the State DMV sticker that is proof of the State's mussel fee payment.

Does NOT apply to canoes, kayaks, car-top boats, float tubes, rafts, wind surfers/boards, boogey boards, nonmotorized paddle boats, and nonmotorized sail boats that are eight feet or less in length.

Bans the disposal of live bait and any liquid that contains or has contained live bait into Lake County water bodies.

Establishes violation as a fine of up to $1,000 with boat impoundment.

Dreissenid mussels significantly alter lake ecology by displacing native species, destroying native habitats and the species that depend on natural habitats, blocking water delivery, disrupting recreational and commercial fishing, undermining docks and all other structures in the water, impeding navigation and enjoyment of the country's waterways.  These mussels have caused devastating impacts on municipal water systems, recreation and fisheries in other areas of the country. Invasive mussels can be unknowingly transported from one lake to another by boaters. Lake County Water Vessel Inspection Ordinance 2936 protects all Lake County water bodies from infestation by Dreissenid mussels, otherwise known as quagga and zebra mussels.
