Riviera West Volunteer Committees

Riviera West is served by a number of volunteer committees - groups of hard-working neighbors committed to maintaining high levels of safety, social service and quality of life within our community.

Architectural Control and Planning Committee

Through the administration of the Riviera West Guidelines to Building, our Architectural Control and Planning Committee is responsible for ensuring that new and remodeling building projects adhere to our by-laws for structural conformity and visual harmony with the surrounding neighborhood. The committee also reviews applications for tree removal, exterior paint color, installation of fences, retaining walls, solar panels, decks, and other project that affect the appearance of a property. For more details on the ACP Committee or to volunteer, please see our Architectural Control and Planning Committee page. For questions, leave a message for the ACP at the Riviera West office.

Fire Safety Committee

The Fire Safe Committee plays a vital role in keeping our community safe. Their activities include educating and supporting property owners in keeping their properties clear of dangerous fuel loads. The Committee organizes brush-chipping days, and develops emergency evacuation plans for the neighborhood. The Committee also coordinates with the County and other nearby communities for integrated fire-prevention and emergency response efforts, and is the liaison between local first responders, the Lake County Fire Safe Council, and the Firewise Communities/USA Program. please see the Fire Safety page for more details. To join the Fire Safety Committee, please contact the office and leave a message for the Committee Chair.

Marina Committee

The Marina area is one of the most appealing feature of living in Riviera West, and the committee is dedicated to keeping it in good condition for all to enjoy. Visit the Marina page, and for more information about the marina, leave a message for Committee Chair Doug Moore at the Riviera West office.

Social Activities Club

Previously known as the Ladies' Club, this busy organization was founded in the 1970s with a mission to promote good fellowship (and fun!) within our community.  Club members coordinate activities all year, from work parties to large seasonal gatherings. Whatever the theme, Social Activities Club events are fun and festive, and create opportunities to meet and appreciate our neighbors.
